Hi, I’m Valeria Filippou, a data scientist with a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. With a PhD in Data Science from the University of Leeds and a diverse background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and engineering, I’ve developed innovative solutions in financial services, healthcare, and environmental monitoring.

 

My journey has taken me from building credit risk models and analysing hand tremors using signal processing, to improving air quality indices and creating high-accuracy alexithymia classification models. I love to tackle challenging problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.
